We are not sure what that means as far as her being able to get to Connie. Please pray that she can get there. We were able to chat with Connie for a few minutes this afternoon. They are getting very low on fuel and other supplies. However they continue to see God at work. Zizi reports that over 100 were saved during the nightly meetings in town this weekend.

We are still working on getting the needed supplies to Connie and the Orphans she is responsible for. This morning our church fleet mechanic flew to Haiti and will be working with another relief agency out of Petit Goave. We are praying that he will be able to make contact with Connie and be able to get some of her equipment running again. He was unable to take tools in with him but Connie still has Terry's tools and tools that Pastor Joe Shihady has taken in over the years.
Please continue to pray for safety, for the much needed funds, and that the transport of equipment & supplies can be done soon.

Haiti Earthquake/Connie Anderson Update 6:00pm
January 16, 2010
Connie, who is still in Port-au-Prince, was able to get an email out to the mission board yesterday with several encouraging notes.
1.) She was able to make phone contact w/TiKene who is her helper at the orphanage. All of the kids had to listen in as well. They needed to hear Connie's voice. All are doing well.
2.) She was able to confirm that Pastor Franck and Zizi are safe.
3.) There is a missionary pastor from New York who is in Petit Goave, the town near her home. He is working to get the road repaired so that they can get supplies in.
4.) She met a U.S. Special Forces soldier who just happens to be a former Missionary Kid that grew up in the region of her home. He is working to be able to help in the restoration of the Petit Goave area, which sustained severe damage. Pray that his leadership will allow this.
Praise the Lord for answered prayer. Keep praying!
